Woven

WOVEN stands for Women of Victory Encouraging and Nurturing.

Motivated solely by the gospel, our Women's Ministry exists to assist our congregation in encouraging, nurturing, and equipping women to use their God-given gifts faithfully and fully to love God, love people, and make disciples.

Objectives:

- Encourage and model personal study of the Bible so each woman takes responsibility for her own spiritual growth.

- Work under the direction of the elders.

- Explore scripturally sound opportunities for service in every calling of life from home, to church, to the world.

- Equip women to fulfill their callings.

- Educate women on the biblical role of womanhood.

- Offer a variety of venues for communicating and sharing ideas.

Let's Sew Produce Bags!

April 11 from 9:30 a.m. to Noon

Fellowship Hall, Warrenton church

At the February seminar, we talked about reducing the amount of plastic we use. Can we reduce the amount of bags we grab in the produce section?

Several women indicated interest in getting together to sew reusable bags. We’ll use fabric, mesh, or a combination. Bring any items or light fabrics that may be useful. Even an orphaned shoelace can come in handy for a drawstring!

You don’t have to bring a sewing machine, but it you have a portable, that’s great. We will share.

If you are interested in attending, please RSVP with Jane Francis. 503 470-0885. If writing a text message, please add your name so I know who’s texting me.
